Free access and Plus
The free plan offers one QR per personal Microsoft account after sign-in. A new QR after that requires an active Studio Plus subscription. The exact first QR can be recreated to recover the same result; exporting an already generated code is not another generation. There is no daily reset and no advertising.
Plus is a monthly subscription with unlimited QR creation. The planned base price is US$0.99/month; the actual local price, taxes where applicable, and billing terms are shown by Microsoft Store before confirmation. Store availability is still being prepared.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Microsoft Store processes the purchase and any recurring charges. Manage or cancel renewal through Microsoft account Services & subscriptions. Access depends on the current Store entitlement and its expiry. For refunds and billing disputes, use Microsoft's applicable purchase process. QR Studio does not collect payment-card details.
The free-account sign-in and the Store purchase session are separate. Use Restore in the app and the Microsoft Store account that purchased Plus to check your subscription.
Your QR codes
Saved static QR codes do not expire when you cancel Plus. Their destination may stop working if a linked website or file becomes unavailable. You are responsible for the content and permissions of what you share. Test a code before printing or distributing it, especially when it contains sensitive information.
The app does not include file hosting, dynamic redirects, scan analytics or batch generation. Large data may exceed QR capacity; use a public link for documents and images.
Availability and privacy
Account verification needs connectivity. If the free-account service cannot verify your allowance, it will not issue another free QR locally. Store license verification can also be unavailable. Contact support if retrying does not help.
